Legs

Odds accept fractional (5/2) or decimal (3.5). A void leg is settled at odds of 1.00; any losing leg loses the whole accumulator.

About this calculator

An accumulator rolls the return from each leg onto the next, so the combined odds are every leg's decimal odds multiplied together. Four legs at 2.00 give combined odds of 16.00, not 8.00 — which is why an acca pays so much more than the same selections backed separately, and why it is so much harder to land.

Every leg has to come in. A single losing leg loses the entire bet regardless of how the others went, so the calculator returns zero the moment any leg is marked lost.

A void leg — a postponed match, a non-runner, or a market settled as void — does not lose the bet. It is settled at odds of 1.00, which removes it from the multiplication and leaves the accumulator running on the remaining legs. A five-fold with one void leg simply pays out as a four-fold.

The acca bonus is applied to your winnings rather than the total return, which is the usual UK bookmaker convention: bonus = profit × the bonus percentage. Bookmakers normally require a minimum number of legs and a minimum price per leg before a bonus applies, and void legs often reduce the bonus tier — check the specific offer, as those rules are not modelled here.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to my accumulator if one leg is void?

The bet stays alive. The void leg is settled at odds of 1.00 and drops out of the calculation, so a five-fold with one void leg is paid as a four-fold on the remaining selections.

How are accumulator odds calculated?

Multiply the decimal odds of every leg together. Legs at 2.00, 3.00 and 1.50 give combined odds of 9.00, so a £10 stake returns £90 including the stake.

Is the acca bonus applied to my stake or my winnings?

Almost always to the winnings. A 10% bonus on £80 profit adds £8, not 10% of the full £90 return. Most bookmakers also set a minimum number of legs and a minimum price per leg before the bonus is paid.
