Frequently asked questions
Does the calculation include the end date?
It measures the span between the two dates, so the finish date is the endpoint rather than an extra counted day. Add one if you need to count both the first and last day inclusively.
Are leap years accounted for?
Yes. The difference is worked out from the real calendar, so 29 February and the varying lengths of months are handled correctly.
